Some good news to report - the electricity has been restored at Napili Point Resort!
Hawaiian Electric has restored power to one of three main transmission lines serving West Maui and restored service to some customers in Napili, Puukolii and Mahinahina.
Cell service still works intermittently and people are being asked to only use their phones for texting as it requires less bandwidth. As of this afternoon, Internet service has not yet been restored.
