Wailuku First Friday Town Party is this Friday (Good Friday – April 6th). This is a very fun, family friendly FREE event. in Wailuku. Bring your family to watch FREE movies at the Iao Theater with Easter egg hunt too. There’s going to be great live music and entertainment on multiple stages along Market Street. Timothy Wenk will “wow” the crowds with his street magic. Market Street is closed for foot traffic between 6pm-9pm so that you can leisurely stroll the street, enjoy the food booths, entertainment, restaurants, and shops!

It’s going to be a great night . We hope you enjoy the event with your family and friends.

The “MauiGrown Coffee Company Store” will surely be one of your favorite places to stop while on Maui, to enjoy a smooth cup of 100% Maui grown coffee. The store is located at 277 Lahainaluna Road next to the famous (and recently rebuilt) Lahaina Smokestack.

MauiGrown Coffee is the largest individually operated coffee grower in the U.S. and the only major producer of 100% Maui Origin Coffee in the world. They grow several varieties of Arabica coffees on it’s 500-acre Kaanapali Coffee Estate, and recently reported a record harvest of more than 350,000 pounds of green coffee!

Visit the MauiGrown Coffee Company Store and be sure to sample their famous Maui Mokka and other varieties of coffee they gorw. The MauiGrown Coffee Company Store is a great place to purchase both green coffee and roasted coffee, as well as coffee from other parts of Maui and Kona coffee.

As we approach the 1-year anniversary of the devastating tsunami in Japan, we thought you might find this video of the tsunami at the Lahaina Harbor here on Maui. This video was taken about 9 1/2 hours after the first wave hit. The “all clear” had been given by the Civil Defense Department.
