Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa’u Parade & Hoolaulea – Saturday, June 16th

NA KAMEHAMEHA COMMEMORATIVE PA’U PARADE & HOOLAULEA

9am-HOOLAULEA 9:45am-PARADE 12pm – HOOKUPU CEREMONY 1pm – AWARDS Food and entertainment until 5pm

We honor the Kamehameha Lineage with a day of celebration and commemoration in the center of the first capital of Hawaii. Pau Parade will commence at 9:45am from Kenui St. down Front St. to Shaw St., Hookupu Ceremony, Games, Entertainment, Food, Crafters, Exhibits and Tours.

The Pa’u Parade will commence at 9:45 am from Kenui St. down Front St. to Shaw St. Six Commentary Stations along Front St, Longhi’s, Kimo’s, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Lahaina Pizza Co., Wharf Cinema Center, and Kamehameha Iki Park!

Festivities will take place on Saturday, June 16 at 9:00am at Kamehameha Iki Park. The parade will commence at 9:45am from Kenui St. down Front St. to Shaw St. Following the parade is a hookupu ceremony at Mokuula Ahu. The hoolaulea will include exhibits and tours by Friends of Mokuula, Hui O Waa Kaulua, Makahiki Games with Kula Kaiapuna ma Nahienaena, a pau awards presentation, food booths, Maui made crafters and entertainment. The festivities are scheduled to last until sunset.
