Skiing Massive Waves

This is fun – Popular Tahoe free-skier and trained racer, Chuck Patterson, was recently on Maui and rode a 20ft. wave at Jaws. But get this – he rode the wave on skis (surf-skiing)! Here’s the link to watch the video and read the article.

Humpback Whales

Click on the link below to visit our Napili Point Resort Facebook Fan page.  Once there, check out the short video on the January 19, 2011 post.  This is a video taken by Ananda, who crews on the Teralani catamaran.  The humpback whales surrounded the boat and she took this fabulous “double breach” – enjoy!

Napili Point Resort Trip Advisor Review!

Here are some exerpts from a recent Trip Advisor review of Napili Point Resort.

‘Beautiful Location right on the ocean. Quiet. Not a party place…which was positive for us. Specatular views, sunsets, great snorkeling with the turtles, Napili beach just a short 4 minute walk away. Surf was up out front.. very entertaining….Staff was excellent, professional…..We stayed in unit A-13…..clean, nice bed, well equipped with lots of extras …beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, stacks of books even snorkel gear.
Obviously thoughtful owners. Enjoyed several rounds of golf at Kapalua. Sampled several restaurants in the area (Merrimen’s, Duke’s, Pinapple Grill, Sea House…all pricey, but first class) Don’t miss – the Gazebo on the beach next door for breakfast…We’ll be back…
